Divers are hard to buy for often times especially if its a diver you don’t know well, has every item he or she could want, or you really can’t break a budget. Here is a quick list of five great gifts almost any diver will appreciate and as always, by purchasing through my links, it will help support my mission.

Jet Boil

Nothing works faster for comfort after a chilly dive than to relax with a nice cup of tea, coffee, or my favorite Tang. The Jet Boil is fast, compact, and heats efficiently. I like how it easily fits into a dive bag or warm bag set up. It uses liquified fuel canisters that are easy to store. It also has lots of accessories like the french press which is a dive site favorite. I use my Jet Boil at the hotel for making quick boiling bag dinners and quick oat meal breakfast.

Nasal Rinse

Keeping the sinuses clear since my surgery has been more important than ever. Even before I underwent those horrible procedures I worked hard to make sure my schnoz didn’t have icky stuff from the lake growing in it.

Solar Charging Bank

Great for keeping phones charged on the dive site as well as on the aircraft. I keep 2-3 solar chargers with me when I travel or hang out at the local dive site. I keep cameras, phones, and of course podcast gear charged and ready to go with these.

Dry Bag

Keeping all the odds and ends together in a dry place as well as limiting exposure to sand and sun has become a priority for me. After a dive and while heading back in the Jeep or on a boat, it’s nice to have dry clothes to change into.

Wet Suit Changing Mat

Nothing sucks worse than the contortions you put yourself through while changing inside your car or worse, between the doors of your rig. This is a handy mat that allows you to cover up, keep your feet out of the sand, dirt, or mud, and have a place to store the wetsuit on your way back home to to the hotel.

Hope you like the ideas and please use the links provided.

BONUS ITEM

Hydro Flask

Added this during the podcast– great for keeping liquids warm or cold
